This project involved a great deal of collaborative effort. Each of our team-members had several roles to fill, ranging from front-end UI/UX Design, to dynamic creation of html, to API requests and AJAX calls.
Personally, as both team lead and back-end lead, I had the responsibility of assigning tasks to group members, specifically those working on back-end features. I also contributed in connecting API's, building our integrated google maps features, and interpreting user-input.
CHARLES DUNCAN
During this project I worked on the concept behind the design of the site as well as delegated tasks for the team working on front-end. I loved doing this project because it was challenging and pushed me to do better!
I worked mostly on the Explore & In the mood for... pages, as well as adding javascript to dynamically appear on the explore page. A unique feature I worked on adding using AOS to add animations for topping on the cake.
KASEY FILLPOT
Hello! I am part of the back-end team. My main focus was to find API's, implement those API's, and integrate Google Maps into our site. The API's we decided to use were: IP Stack, Eventful and Googles Maps.
The selected API's allowed our team to build a strong foundation for our events site and will be simple to build onto in the future.

Throughout the process of this project I focused on ensuring that the search input correlates properly with the search button. I also validated the function of a smooth page destination by using location.replace for certain buttons.
With location.replace certain click function for some of our buttons will direct our users to the explore page. I used CSS and BootSrap to style the first page as well as styling for buttons. Ultimately, our users can use the first page to direct them to specific destinations our users desire.
LIDIA DAVIDSON
Worked on front end, ” In the mood part” for adding Unsplash website photography data. Got sliders, calendar range, filters ready for future website development. In the back- end, made a research on Eventful and Google maps APIs for implementing them in our app.
